more cobbler

I finally broke out the local rhubarb I've been stockpiling in my freezer:

I might have had this for breakfast yesterday morning . . . and again for dinner. Shh . . . don't tell.

I would have eaten this all day myself! Yummy! I've never had rhubarb cobbler, just peach. Maybe I should change it up a bit, eh?

veggiegirl, thanks!

jennifer, I had another serving tonight after work . . . there's only one scoop left!

Julie, you've never tried rhubarb? OMG, get to your farmer's market and buy some! (This is actually a strawberry-rhubarb cobbler -- a combination I highly recommend!)

Syn, thanks! (And thanks for the nod of approval -- sometimes we all have to indulge, right?)

mmhmm rhubarb cobbler. We used to have rhubarb growing in our yard, not sure anymore. But its the best.

And yeah, I go to Marquette, though I am home for the summer. I have only heard of the Riverwest Co-Op? Is that the one you are talking about? I know Veganessentials is somewhere near Mke, which is highly exciting.

Though it sucks that I do not have a car at all in milwaukee, so Ill have to learn the bus routes to try and get my way out there.

Catherine-

I want to make your homemade bread recipe-I found it in your archives. Can I use "blackstrap" molasses for the molasses?

Thanks :]

Julie, that's the only kind of molasses I ever buy. :) (The good stuff!)

Oh yes! I have heard of Outpost. My friends went there last year to the little cafe, told me Id had loved it. And it appears to only be 25 mins away by bus! When I get back up there I will definitely be making a visit there. :)

Did you go grow up in milwaukee or went to school?

Rhubarb is a vegetable, so it must be healthy in any form, at any time of day. ;) Looks great!
