Gratuitous Cat Photos
"I. Want. To. Play. Now."
"Oh, for the love of life! It's my Favorite Thing in the Whole Wide World!"
"Shhhh. Pay no attention to us shoes over here. No one over here but us shoes."
"Favorite Thing, how dare you come so close to me?!?! Now, you must pay."
"Get! Out! Of! My! Shoe! NOW!"
"Gotcha. Ah, Favorite Thing, how I've missed you so."
"Wait, come back . . . Favorite Thing . . . "
"What? In the closet? You're not supposed to go in the closet . . . come back, Favorite Thing! I will save you from the evil demons in the closet!"
"I love you."
(As an aside, I've been offline more this week, because after spending a couple of hours each day sitting at the computer looking for a new job, the last thing I want to do when I'm done with that is sit at the computer some more! Ack. Sorry for the absense. More food photos coming up this weekend. Still no job, by the way, but I have two interviews next week! Wish me luck!)

your cat is adorable... that last pic is really cute..
I'm making your curried sweet potato soup tonight for a houseguest.. I'm sure he'll love it. I know we do!
I think Oliver is on his way to becoming a shoe whore. He's such a cutie.
GOOD LUCK! and thanks for the cat smiles.
awww very VERY cute kitty.. good luck w/ your interviews next week.. may the force be w/ you!
That is the cutest kitty! And you really captured the adorable/evil things they must be thinking all day long... Good luck with the job search! (And thanks for not thinking I'm a troll ;-)
This is like Killian's long lost thin twin! Super-cute.
Good luck with the job hunt. Sitting in front of the computer doing unfun things really must suck.
I know how you feel about the being on the computer too much. Work 8 hours a day, come home to be on the computer MORE? ek i can feel myself gaining weight. But at the same time I've been missing it a bit
teddy
Look at Oliver go! He is such a cutie.
Good luck on the job search Catherine! We are looking forward to your posts when you have time.
Great kitty pix, Catherine!! Thank you for sharing... Here's to you getting the job of your dreams SOON!!
Crystal, Oliver was a chewer when I first got him (around nine months old) -- he chewed the varnish off of the corners of my great-grandmother's cedar chest! Naughty kitty. Sorry to hear about your flip-flops! What a bummer.
Melody, let me know how the soup goes over -- I can never get enough feedback!
Michelle, your favorite sassy kitty is indeed a shoe whore, I think. Just like his momma?
Vicki, thanks! Neither of the interviews will turn into job possibilities, (one offered a ridiculously small wage, the other required a car, of all things,) but I'll keep on truckin'. Or bussin', actually.
Made in Alaska, thanks! I think he's a pretty cute guy, but then again, I am biased . . . !
Bazu, I love putting words on his actions. Some of my friends find it a little disturbing that I speak for him, but I think it's funny! He's a pretty expressive guy, so I just want to help him out a bit.
Leslie, I've been getting better about the job search -- I figure, if I search every-other day, I'm still getting the resumes in plenty early, and I then get a break from the stress and computer. I'm going to start looking at nannying jobs, though, because it's getting towards crunch time, and I'm getting a little nervous . . . !!
Teddy, I understand! I was so worried about gaining weight with the unemployment . . . but so far, nary an ounce. I've been a little bit active at least, and have just sort of naturally scaled back my food intake.
Jody, I laugh when I play with him, because he's usually such a lazy bum, until Favorite Thing comes out . . . then he turns into hyper, leaping-into-the-air, psycho-kitty!
Kleo, thanks! I need all the positive vibes I can get right now! (So frustrated . . . !!)
What a cute kitty! Our cats have a very similar favorite thing.
