I rock!

Just had to share . . . I biked my butt to and from work today, for a roundtrip total of almost 20 miles! (I spent about an hour each way on my bike, which is about how long my bus/walking commute takes on an ordinary day.) My plan is to bike at least twice per week -- not only will this be great additional exercise, I will save almost $50 a month on bus fare!

Wahoo! I rock!

I've been biking to work this summer, too, mostly to save on parking (really, who has to *pay* to park at work??!?!!) and gas. I love that I can get myself to and from work on my own steam :)

hooray! I used to bike commute 11 miles (roundtrip) per day, and in conjunction have vivid memories of a few weeks offsite in which the commute stretched to 30 miles...wow ow! Eat some granola bars and drink some water and give yourself a huge round of applause.
