your opinion needed.

Got any favorite recipes in Eat, Drink, and be Vegan or La Dolce Vegan? If so, tell me about them -- I have so many new/library cookbooks right now, I'm having trouble focusing!! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!

(I guess I could have worse problems than this. But your help is still appreciated.)

"Gluten be gone" Chocolate chip cookies and "You got peanut butter in my chocolate" cookies are some of the best I've ever had! (ED&BV)

You got La Dolce Vegan from our library system?! What!? I feel like I have done an ILL search for all of Dreena's books and only ever come up with ED&BV! I am gonna request it for when you return it :o)

I'm not sure if you've tried these yet, but 2 of my all-time FAVORITE recipes are actually in ED&BV.

They are...

(drum roll, please)

Spicoli Burgers (pg 145), and
Potato Squashers (pg 162).

The Bean & corn Tortilla Lasagna w/ Avocado (pg. 120) is also good, but you should definitely make it with the extra layer of avocado.

I have actually had La Dolce Vegan for a while now, but for some reason I never really did anything with it. A week or so ago I picked it up and started drooling over it, and I have made the fruit dip from the snack section, and artichoke pasta. The recipe I am really eyeing though, is the Punk-kin pasta (on page 128). I just need to get a can of pumpkin so I can make it, but it looks awesome.

Oh, and the Raunchy Red Lentil Soup on page 106 looks awesome. So do the next two soup recipes for that matter. Good luck choosing!

Hey Sweetie!

I just found your blog through Veggie Girl's blogroll. I'm so glad I did! I don't happen to have any favorites from ED&BV. I've actually never flipped through it! But I have tons of favs. from Mark Bittmans's cookbook.

Have a wonderful weekend!

With Love,

I love the Living Caesar Dressing and the Polenta Croutons from Eat, Drink and Be Vegan. Also the White Bean Soup.
